WALT DISNEY World
Walt's birthday is something very special for the Disney parks. It's a chance for us to give our thanks to the man that started it all.
Role: Motion Designer and Creative Director. For this video I was asked to go out to the Walt statue that stands in the Magic Kingdom. With the assistance of a photographer we captured a variety of timelapses and hyperlapses around the Walt Disney statue. We used this effect to emphasize the crowds in the park as they move about and are greeted by Walt.
Scope: Park Hopper Plus allows Guests to travel between all four parks and two water parks in the same day.
Role: Motion Designer and Editor. I created an eye-catching design that made it easy for Guest to discover the benefits of this feature.
Scope: Grandparents love to make their families happy. And what makes a child's face light up more than a trip to Disney? Walt Disney World is a place where family members of all ages can gather together in one place and embrace the Disney magic.
Role: Motion Designer and Editor. I was assigned this video to help show our grandparent audience that Walt Disney World should be on their mind when it came time to plan the next family get together. I created the titles and animated the text and entire video.
Scope: A creative piece to celebrate the anniversary of two Disney theme parks.
Role: Motion Designer. To celebrate both Magic Kingdoms 46th birthday and Epcot's 35th, production photographer Jack McRee and I set out to capture photos in the parks. The idea we were given was to hold up the "Happy Birthday" or "I'm Celebrating" buttons in front of iconic landmarks in the parks. In post production I found an image from both of the parks that had a nice background and my hand/button was in a similar spot in both images. Then with the help of After Effects and a quick scale transition, I was able to transition between the two images and create a seamless looping video.
